Week #1 Update: Werkin' Gurl

This week's Loss:     -0.0

There was no gain this week but there sure wasn't any loss, either.  In all honesty, this Pudge is SUPER lucky that there wasn't any gain.   I hardly worked out - I earned about 12 Weight Watchers activity points all week and I ate -really- badly.  We are talking chocolate and McDonald's and cheese popcorn....  Granted, I ate smaller portions of everything and I was actually smart about how I balanced my other meals...

Can't do that this week, or I will have to change my name to iPudgier...

Though - there is a good aspect to this week!  I went through some of my skinny clothes -- clothes that I wore in Japan (and some I bought there) -- and I could fit in 90% of them!  SOME of them were TOO BIG!!!

Holy crappin poops!  That was a great ego boost.  :3    The bad part is that I have to go through my closet and take fat clothes out and make room for skinny clothes.  It's both exciting and daunting - because it's great to be this much thinner, but I don't want to spend the money on new clothes.  (Also, I -like- my fat clothes.  :(   )

But... thus far, my complaints are fewer than my happiness, and I am going to work my ass off to get that god damned video game!  >:(   (haha!   I have priorities)

First post (here, anyway)

For the sake of convenience, I have taken the name of my blog on Weight Watchers and applied it to this blog with a similar purpose.

I use my blog on Weight Watchers to write about ....primarily complaints... but I thought that having a weight loss blog outside of that might be a way to keep myself accountable.  It'll also give me ways to share some of my business to those who don't rock Weight Watchers.

So without further ado:

Hi.  I'm iPudge who is hoping to become a glamasaurus sooner than later!  ;)

I've been doing a weight loss thing for about 6 months now and have lost 50 pounds thus far.  It hasn't been easy...  People say it all the time - true weight loss like I am working for is a whole lifestyle change.  It's not just about eating less and working out -- it's about changing your habits, understanding why you got to where you are and seeing what you have to do to change and maintain.

It's...  It's a work in progress. :)   But aren't we all?

I have a set of mini goals that I started working on to take away the demoralization of seeing that I'd come so far and I still haven't gotten to where I need to be. So instead of either risking becoming comfortable with such a large number that I'd lost or risking wanting to just quit like I have in the past - I made 10 pound intervals.

I still have to get that manicure - but in about 6 more pounds, I'll get myself a video game. ;)   Haha, priorities!
